A business born from a simple idea

Kadris™ is Yohan’s business, born from a very simple idea: a LEGO® set you have put time, passion and sometimes a serious budget into deserves better than ending up placed at random on a shelf.

It started with the sets piling up at home, and with them a question: how do you really display them, as decorative objects? The existing solutions did not fit. Something more accomplished was needed, able to stage the set and to genuinely fit into a room.

A background that leads to the details

A landscape gardener by trade, Yohan spent years working with his hands, handling different materials and working on high-end projects for clients who were particularly demanding about quality of execution and finishing. That experience taught him that a good result often comes down to the details: a precise alignment, a clean finish, a well considered assembly.

He also trained in space planning and interior architecture, and in software such as SketchUp® and AutoCAD®. That gave him another way of looking at volumes, proportions, colours, materials, and the way an object finds its place in a room.

What Kadris™ does today

Wall art designed not only to hang a LEGO® set on the wall, but to stage it as a genuine display piece. Every project keeps the same requirement: think through where the set sits, work out how it is fixed, prepare the piece in the workshop, and offer several levels of finish so the result is as carefully made as the model it holds.
