Our first article: the quest for quality in our wall art
When we decided to launch our collection of wall art, we knew we didn't just want to "print an image and sell it," or even do Dropshipping like so many others, simply reselling items created by someone else.
No, the idea was far more ambitious: to create a genuine artistic experience, where every detail matters, from the printing medium to the frame's finish, right down to the mounting hardware.
In-depth research to find the right medium
From the very start, we tested different materials:
Premium photo paper: beautiful colours, but fragile and not well suited to long-lasting pieces.
Canvas: warm and inviting, but the look didn't match our modern, design-driven vision.
Plexiglass: appealing for its shine, but prone to scratches and sometimes too flashy.
After lengthy comparisons, we naturally settled on aluminium. Why? Because it offers exactly what we were looking for:
perfectly true colours,
exceptional durability over time,
and above all, a modern, clean and timeless finish.
The frame, an essential element
We then looked into how to best showcase our prints. The frame couldn't just be a simple accessory: it had to become an integral part of the artwork.
Our tests led us to aluminium once again. Sturdy, elegant and minimalist, it adds a design touch without drawing attention away from the visual. We worked through different thicknesses and finishes to strike the perfect balance between strength and lightness.
Mounting hardware: combining aesthetics and practicality
Finally, one crucial point remained: how to hang our pieces. Here too, nothing was left to chance. We selected mounting systems that are both reliable and discreet, ensuring a secure hold while giving the impression that the artwork floats against the wall.

Quick answer: start with the model's real assembled dimensions and the room available, then choose a presentation method that matches how often you want to handle it. A good display should remain stable, readable from the normal viewing distance and simple to maintain.
Which measurement is most often forgotten?
Depth. Boxes and product photographs can make a model appear flatter than it is. Include projecting wings, spoilers, towers, handles and accessories, then add a margin so the finished construction is not pressed against another object.
How do you choose between a shelf, case and wall display?
A shelf is flexible but uses floor or furniture space. A closed case offers the best protection from dust but needs more volume. A wall display frees furniture and highlights the model's main angle. The choice depends on model weight, room layout, access and budget.
Which Kadris finish suits each interior?
Spacers create a light, floating effect. The black aluminium frame gives the composition a clear gallery-style boundary. The battery-powered LED frame adds an ambient halo without a visible power cable. Lighting is decorative rather than a replacement for general room lighting.
How can several sets stay visually coherent?
Group them by licence, scale, colour or type and keep spacing consistent. Choose a main piece and let smaller models support it. Empty space is useful: it makes every construction easier to identify and prevents the collection from looking accidental.
Is the LEGO® set included with a Kadris display?
No, unless the relevant product page explicitly says otherwise. Kadris supplies the compatible aluminium display, its mounting system and the selected finish. Sets and minifigures shown in photographs illustrate the possible result.
How should the model be protected over time?
Keep it away from direct sunlight, strong heat and narrow passageways. Vertical presentation can greatly limit dust accumulation compared with a crowded shelf, but it does not replace occasional gentle cleaning or a closed display case.
