LEGO® Super Mario™ 72060 Fire Mario and Bowser's Castle: Price, Release Date and Full Details

LEGO® is turning the page for its Super Mario™ range. After the electronic figures launched in 2020, classic minifigures take over. The flagship set of this new era is called Fire Mario and Bowser's Castle, set number 72060.

The end of electronic figures, the start of minifigures

Since 2020, LEGO® Super Mario™ has relied on an electronic Mario figure, with a built-in screen and sensors. This new set changes everything. Mario becomes a classic minifigure again, just like in any other LEGO® theme. Seven other sets join this launch, featuring Luigi, Peach, Yoshi, Bowser Jr., Koopa Troopa and Toad.

A castle full of traps

Bowser's Castle stages Mario in his Fire outfit, setting off to rescue Princess Peach. Bowser, a Koopa Troopa and a Goomba guard the fortress. Fireballs, hidden traps, treasure chests and coins are scattered throughout the build, recreating the game's key scenes.

Price, pieces and release date

The 72060 Fire Mario and Bowser's Castle set has 850 pieces and costs 99.99€. It's the biggest set of the whole new LEGO® Super Mario™ minifigure wave. Release is set for January 1, 2027.
