LEGO® Concorde 10318: the supersonic jet in large wall format

In the Kadris collection, there are the standard pieces (75 × 45 cm and 55 × 35 cm) and there are the exceptional formats. The wall art for the LEGO® Icons 10318 Concorde is in this second category: at 69 × 115 cm panoramic, it's the most imposing and spectacular wall piece in our entire catalogue.

The Concorde, an icon of human history

The Concorde isn't just a plane, it's the embodiment of an era when human ambition seemed to know no limits. The fruit of Franco-British collaboration, it linked Paris and New York in under 3h30 for 27 years. Its retirement in 2003 left a void in commercial aviation that has never been filled.

The LEGO® Icons 10318: a reproduction worthy of the legend

The 10318 set captures the Concorde with its 2,083 pieces, reproducing the elongated fuselage, the distinctive nose (which lowered for landing), the delta wings and the 4 engines. In white, with the details of the Air France and British Airways livery, it's one of the most elegant adult LEGO® sets in the Icons range.

Why the panoramic format for this set

The Concorde is a plane with extremely elongated proportions, its fuselage is nearly 62 metres long for a wingspan of only 25 metres. To capture this distinctive silhouette as wall art, a 69 × 115 cm panoramic format (horizontal) is the only one that does justice to the plane's proportions. In a standard format, the silhouette would be squashed.

For which spaces?

This large format is made for ambitious spaces: a main hallway, a large living-room wall, a meeting room, an entrance hall. It's a prestige piece that generates conversations the moment visitors see it.
