LEGO® The Joker Wall Art Comic Cover 67012: Price, Release Date and Review of the Creepiest Set Ever Made

A Joker face made up of bats flying away like ashes. LEGO® takes on one of the most famous comic book covers with set 67012, available from January 1, 2027.

A tribute to an iconic Detective Comics cover

The set recreates the cover of Detective Comics #880 (2011), illustrated by Jock: the Joker's face dissolving into a swarm of bats. Designed by LEGO® designer François Zapf, this wall art has been described by several specialist media outlets as one of the most unsettling sets ever produced by the brand.

A surprising detail: not a single bat piece

While the subject of the set is literally a swarm of bats, not a single bat-shaped LEGO® piece is used. The designers repurposed a variety of elements such as sabers, controllers, dragon wings and axe heads to recreate the silhouettes, a real feat of creative part usage.

Price, pieces and release date

Set 67012 includes 1 849 pieces for a price of 169,99 €. Rated 18+, it's the first set of this maturity level in the LEGO® DC range. It will ship starting January 1, 2027.

When LEGO® joins the world of wall art

With this 67012, LEGO® confirms that fans want to display their builds on the wall, not just on a shelf. But this wall art remains a flat mosaic, designed to reproduce an image. At Kadris®, the logic is different: it's your LEGO® vehicle or diorama built in 3D, the one you assembled piece by piece, that becomes the wall art.
