LEGO® Downton Abbey 21373: Price, Release Date and Full Details

The biggest set ever designed in the history of the LEGO® Ideas program has just been unveiled. And it pays tribute to one of the most watched British series in the world.

The set that breaks every LEGO® Ideas record

With 4,711 pieces, set 21373 Downton Abbey officially becomes the largest set ever produced in the LEGO® Ideas range. An impressive record for a range already known for ambitious builds.

The project started as a fan submission by Sebastian Veselka, selected during the second LEGO® Ideas review of 2024. LEGO® designers then refined it for nearly two years to deliver this final version.

Highclere Castle, the real house behind the show

The set recreates Highclere Castle, the English estate that serves as the main filming location for Downton Abbey®. This real-life location, still home to the Carnarvon family, has become a symbol of the period drama genre since the show launched in 2010.

The build reproduces both the reception rooms and the below-stairs world of the castle: dining room, main hall, library (with a removable upper level for access), kitchen, servants' hall and Mr Carson's office. Outside, a bench and a cedar tree complete the display.

13 minifigures and details fans will love

The set includes 13 minifigures based on characters from season 6 of the show, each with dual face printing. Several easter eggs are hidden in the build: references to the show itself, and to the fan designer behind the project.

On period details, LEGO® has taken care to recreate the 1910s-1920s atmosphere: mixed lighting sources, a period rotary telephone, an early electric mixer. The kind of detail that turns a set into a real collector's piece, for fans of the show and architecture lovers alike.
