LEGO® has officially revealed the Icons Bookshop: Book Nook set, reference 11379. This set belongs to a still rare LEGO® family: book nooks, miniature dioramas designed to slide between two books on a shelf.

The concept has existed among independent makers for a long time. LEGO® takes it on with its usual craftsmanship: precise details, careful staging, and a genuine nod to literature lovers.

What makes this set unique

Once open, the set reveals a two-storey bookshop. A spiral staircase connects the floors. Balconies, a reading nook and an author's desk make up the scene.

The details are plentiful: a golden cup, a magnifying glass, a black cat statue. Two minifigures come with the set, an author and a reader, bringing this little bookshop to life.

The set can close back up into a simple decorative block on a shelf, or stay open as a standalone display piece. This dual use makes it a unique object in the LEGO® Icons catalogue, closer to a decorative piece than a simple building set.

The 11379 Bookshop: Book Nook set has 1690 pieces. It is priced at 129.99€. The official release date is set for 1 October 2026. LEGO® recommends this set for builders aged 18 and up.
