1. The dedicated shelf

The basics: a shelf reserved for your sets, at eye level, away from radiators and direct sunlight. Tip: give the models room to breathe, three well-spaced sets look better than eight crammed together.

Detolf-style cabinets or acrylic cases: maximum dust protection. Downsides: bulky, and reflections get in the way of the details.

3. The rotating stand
