2026 Mexican Grand Prix: F1's Most Electric Crowd

The 2026 Mexican Grand Prix takes place on Sunday, November 1 in Mexico City, at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. It's one of the most unique races on the entire calendar, not for its technical characteristics, but for the atmosphere its crowd creates, unlike anywhere else in the world.

Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez: Racing at 2,285 Metres Altitude

Mexico City sits 2,285 metres above sea level, making this circuit one of the most unusual on the calendar. The thinner air at this altitude means engines produce less power and aerodynamic downforce is reduced. Teams have to adapt their setups significantly.

The Fan Zones and the Estadio Atmosphere

What makes the Autodromo in Mexico City special is its stadium built into the circuit: the final section runs through the Estadio Hermanos Rodriguez, a former baseball stadium turned Fan Zone for the 40,000 spectators watching the race from inside the corner. The atmosphere there feels closer to a rock concert than a traditional Grand Prix.

Sergio Perez and the Mexican Fans

Even though Sergio Perez is no longer with Red Bull in 2026, his influence on F1's popularity in Mexico remains huge. Mexican fans discovered Formula 1 through him and continue to be among the most passionate in the world.

With 3 races left, the 2026 F1 championship enters its final phase. Discover the Kadris F1 LEGO® wall art to support your team until the end.

Built. And then what?

A set that took you hours ends up on a shelf, gathering dust, in the way. We make aluminium wall displays with mounts designed for one specific model. No display for this set yet? Ask for it.
